FA Q

HOW DO I RSVP?

We will be collecting RSVPs digitally and with a pre-stamped card & envelope that will be included in your invitation suite. You are welcome to use either option to reply. If you need to adjust your RSVP details, please contact our wedding planner, Tara, at tara@shannonleahy.com.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

While we love your little ones, the welcome party and wedding will be adult-only celebrations.

WILL THERE BE DINNER AT THE WELCOME PARTY?

The welcome party will take place during dinner hours, so we’ll have plenty of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

The welcome party is Coastal Cocktail! Not sure what that means? Don’t worry, we’ve put together a mood board to give you some inspiration.

For the wedding, the dress code is Black Tie. Tuxedos are preferred, or dark suits work great for men, while women can opt for floor-length dresses in rich colors or unique textures. Need ideas? We have a wedding attire mood board for you.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE THIS TIME OF YEAR? ARE ANY EVENTS OUTDOORS?

In Bluffton, the average highs are around the 70s to low 80s on the warmest days, with lows in the 50s.

On Friday, the Welcome Party will be mostly outdoors on the water. We recommend a wrap or light jacket and wedge heels for gravel surfaces.

On Saturday, the ceremony will take place inside the church, cocktail hour will be outside on the water, and reception will be tented. Please bring a light jacket or wrap for cooler evening temperatures.

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND?

For Friday's Welcome Party, shuttles will be provided to and from the Inn.

On the wedding day, shuttles will be provided from the Inn to Somerset Chapel for the ceremony, and after the ceremony to Village Green for Cocktail Hour, Dinner and Dancing, and the Afterparty.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO NAVIGATE THE BLUFF?

Palmetto Bluff is a vast environment of amenities spread across several miles of pristine nature preserve.  To navigate the property, they have several modes of transportation.

Bicycles - Preferred mode of transportation, complimentary.

Golf Carts - Rented through Recreation

Cadillac Driving Experience For Resort Guests - May be reserved through the Inn Concierge by dialing 6318
